How many of us can say this statement: "My laundry room is a dark hole that is depressing to be in."
I know I sure could...Until last month. :)
The starting point. (well....after I cleared all the junk from the top of the washer & dryer and started painting samples on the wall to decide on a color)
Notice how boring...and white it is.

One of the things I LOVE about Pinterest is that it makes it easy for me to show stuff to Matt. Instead of trying to explain what I want and the different ideas I see online, I just pull up my board for whatever we are working on and say "I like this about this room....and this about this room."

That's what I did with the laundry room project. (Side note...I'm not sure Matt is loving Pinterest as much as I am.)
I shipped my kids off to my mom for a few days and Matt and I did a massive reorganization of all the closets, drawers, etc. in my whole house....AND redecorating of the laundry room. It was a beautifully productive time. Until Nicole had a severe asthma attack, but that's another story for another day.
Please take note that both inspiration pictures have cabinets and countertops. There were several more inspiration pictures on my Laundry Room Board but these were the main two elements I knew I HAD to have.
Stay tuned for how it turned out....
