Introduction

Hi! I'm Lucy. I'm a homeschooling SAHM to my two little girls, Nicole (4yo) and Ella (20 months). My husband (Matt) is a civil engineer. We are very involved with our Baptist church, and most of our life revolves around church activities and our kids...and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Organizing, homeschooling, and crafting are a few of the main keys where I am Inspired by the Creative Peoples.

Most of my friends would say that I'm obsessive when it comes to organizing. I love it when I see a "new" idea and can go rearrange the cabinets. My poor husband is always having to ask where his peanut butter is because it is constantly being moved.

Since my kids are still preschoolers, there is a wealth of information on blogs about tot-time and preschool at home. I love being able to be a more creative homeschooling mom without having to be very original. (Yes, I realize that may make me sound lazy...but why think things up when somebody else already has?)

I love crafting and doing creative things. The only problem is, I'm not very original. Once I see something, I get inspired and usually have to break out my hot glue gun, Cricut, or sewing machine.

I'm totally addicted to craft blogs and Pinterest. My plan for this blog is to share all the great ideas I see and how I made it mine or made an idea work for my family.
